Big news...Earlier this week we (Iceland) had the news that the U.S. army was going. They were leaving, taking their plains, helicopters and all their stuff and just leave us. For some it´s a great relive others it isn´t. Some have fought for it for centuries, or since the army came in WWII that they would leave and the hippies were best at it with there protest and all that. But some don´t like it, for many reason. Icelanders don´t have good helicopters and the army has saved us many times, in bad weathers moving people specially in the avalanches in ´95 & ´96. And all the sailors. And than some might be afraid that some country would come and steel us. Well, the army is gone but as long as they can, and don´t have to think about their oven country they will think about us. Protect us from a long way... That sounds nice... or what, I don´t know...
