What are these people doing?

yes I thought it was so but now. Now I don´t know how long time it´s been since I lived in U.S.A. and I talked very American wen I came back home, but no. To night my friends (don´t know if they should be called friend because of this) made fun of me. I was supposed to repeat the same word over and over again cause it sounded so AMERICAN wen I pronounced it. But the thing is, like when I talk in English with my Greek friend I don´t talk English with very much American it´s more like Icelandic-Greek-English combination... why is it so strange? Don´t know, it´s so normal for me? For a year I talked English with American accent, and my Icelandic was very bad for few weeks cause over a year I only talked Icelandic once a month, not even that... So HEY, don´t make fun of me, OK! My American English is like it´s supposed to be and all of you try to make like that... :D
